Worlds oil will run out.

Oil is one form of fossil fuel. It is lifeblood of our society and for many others around the world.
We use oil in many ways such as transportation, machine, industry and etc.
Many scientists estimate that oil will run out soon. The energy industry calls this peak oil.
In my view, oil will run out for two reasons.

First, oil is non-renewable energy resource. This means that it cannot be replaced if it has been used up.
It must take very long time to form, because it is formed by the burying of dead plant and animal over millions of years.
In the United States, For example, oil production has already peaked since 1970,
so U.S. must use imported oil.

Second, oil demand continues increase but supply continues decrease.
In the year 1980, for example, world oil demand is 63 million barrels a day,
but in year the 2002, it increased to 78 million barrels a day.
If this situation still continues, oil will run out very soon.

In conclusion, oil will run out soon because it is non-renewable resource and oil demand continues to grow.
Obviously we cannot go on using oil forever; it will eventually be used up.
So we must use oil safely in order to extend the running out of oil.
What do you think about this?
