Still, off *camera friction* with ABC over what performers could say on the show ....
Could anyone define *camera friction*?

The sentence should read, Still, off-camera friction with ABC ...etc..
Off-camera friction means, that when the camera is turned off there is disagreement with ABC (a US television network) about what performers are allowed to say on a TV show. Usually, it is a matter of censoring bad language, or unpopular views. Commercial television networks are very worried about alienating their advertisers and so TV programmes tend to be bland, cliched rubbish for the most part. |
