Hi!
Divide your time equally. If you get a high score in one area, it will help your overall score. Go to a class if you can. If you can't:
READING: Do LOTS of reading. 1 - 2 hours a night is normal. ''New Scientist" is a great magazine to use as many IELTS readings come from here. It is also online.
SPEAKING: Do as much as you can. It will also help your listening. Even friends from your country can help.
LISTENING: Speaking is great. There is also a great free site called "Randall's ..."(I forget the name, but it will come up under a Yahoo search.)
WRITING: Do LOTS. 1 essay a night is perfect. Get your teacher to mark it. If you don't have a teacher, go to:
http://www.write4ielts.bravehost.com
(Yes, it's my site, but it is very cheap!)
Good luck.
