(CNN) -- The death of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri has drawn worldwide condemnation. He was a man of peace, a great friend. He was a man who, after 20 years of war in Lebanon, managed to rebuild it.
The Lebanese opposition has blamed Syria and the pro-Damascus Lebanese government for carrying out the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, a businessman who helped rebuild his country after it had been wracked by years of civil war.
The Lebanese government and Syria both denied any role in the killing.
Hariri and at least nine others were killed Monday when a massive bomb ripped through Beirut's chic seafront boulevard, leaving rubble, burning vehicles and twisted metal and glass strewn across the road for blocks
This murder today is a terrible reminder that the Lebanese people must be able to pursue their aspirations and determine their own political future free from violence and intimidation and free from Syrian occupation," he said, adding that he had no information about who was responsible for the bombing.[img]

First, I am so sorry to hear that. Second I am so upset to see a person from U.A E repeat just what the CNN propaganda.
As I know Lebanon and Syria one country, but now other people try to killed this good relationship. If I am Arabic I have to think twice before to say that Syria is occupition, and Syria is responsible about this crime.
You should look about what happen to Iraq, and think who like to see the Arabic kill each others. Then you know who killed Hariri???? |

Do you imply that the U.S. had a hand in his assassination? Oh, Pul-Leez! The CIA can barely find its own butt with both hands, let alone carry out a successful hit. If the U.S. was at all involved, it would have been if Hariri had asked for U.S. protection (which, given the competency of the CIA, would have guaranteed his demise at the hands of his enemies).
If you are determined to find crazy conspiracy theories, you would be better off looking at maybe the Mossad who would also have a vested interest in causing a rift between Syria and occupied Lebanon. |
