Where can I learn about Canadian English online? Is it very different from the proper English that I have learnt in school? Is the grammar very difficult? Can English people understand Canadian people?

Thank you.

Now that you mentioned it, I really miss my cram school teacher who is a very kind Canadian and has already come back to her homeland. I remember When a student was too shy to speak English, she always said, "Don't worry. Your English is better than my Chinese." As an ESL student, I think Canadian accent is similar to American accent, so I guess it's not hard to understand what a Canadian is talking if you're used to American accent.

For the most part, Canadians use the English spelling but sound very much like Americans. You should have no trouble understanding them.

Many times I have learned that an actor or comedian is Canadian years after I've known their work. Not once would I ever have guessed it.
