I looked up in a dictionary. The word *sinecure* means *paid work requiring little or no work*.
The sample sentence somehow doesn't make much sense to me .
Care to explain?

It doesn't to me, either. Maybe the writer of the sentence has a mistaken idea of the word's meaning? |
