Yes and no. Depending on who you talk to, they will either regard the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) as 3 separate beings OR, as most Christian theologians will say, they will regard the 3 as different manifestations of One single supreme entity. For example, just as you have a head, torso, 2 arms, and 2 legs, but you do not regard yourself as 6 different people. They are all part of one being that is you. So too is the Trinity regarded as parts of one Being. In that way, many Christians will regard themselves as monotheistic like Jews and Muslims.
Why 3 instead of, say, 4 or 5 or 17? Well, that goes into the writing styles and cultures of ancient times when numbers and numerology had greater significance in primitive superstitious peoples than it does today. It had an understood meaning then that just confuses today.
Another difference is that Muslims believe Christ was not crucified, while in Christianity the crucifixion and resurrection play an important and central part of the belief.
Still another difference would be with regard to the Prophet himself. In the New Testement, Christians were warned that there would be false prophets. Because Islam teaches against the crucifixion (a central part of Christian theology), the Prophet Mohammad (MPBUH) is regarded as a false prophet to be ignored. I think it is much the same way (correct me if I'm wrong) Muslims regard the Apostle Paul whom they regard as leading the followers of Christ astray from a true original path of His teachings.
But it's all a matter of faith anyway. We may believe different things, but that shouldn't mean we can't still respect each other as human beings searching for the Truth as our reason leads us. I think a lot of the conflict has to do with the temperament and tolerance of the cultures more than the belief systems themselves. (IMHO) |

DO ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY HAVE DIFFERENT ORIGINS?
No. Together with Judaism, they go back to the prophet and patriarch Abraham,
and their three prophets are directly descended from his sons Muhammad from the
eldest, Ishmael, and Moses and Jesus from Isaac. Abraham established the
settlement which today is the city of Makkah, and built the Ka'abah towards
which all Muslims turn when they pray.

it is a very huge and complicated topic
but i should thanks all friends paricipated
for now i will add just quick point:
1
muslims believe in Christ(pbuh) as a human prophet sent by God
christian (bob has explained)
2
as for the trinity itself
in islam ,they are completely separated
God and a prophet and an angel
3
muslims believe that Bilbe have been changed from the original script by God |
