Date back to 15 years ago, in China, if you had sex before you got married, then it's a shame for you and your family, definitely.

IMHO, that's so stupid! some girls didn't know that their future husbands were impotent until they got married. even those impotent men didn't know that until they got married.

I can list tons of reasons to prove the thesis is ridiculous. unfortunately, now in China, the same case still exists in some remote places. and many young people become the victims of the phenomenon.

What do you think? guys? in your country, is it the same?

It's partly same here. There are even some cases of murders about this issue(in some remote parts as you said)

They consider this as the most important aspect of virtue,ethic...
My own opinion about this is not as strict as theirs.I think virtue should considered in only head, not in maidenhead....

I sometimes get really angry about this issue.Especially what is going on in some developing countries..Women are abused and then killed for this silly reason.Then what about men?They can do whatever they want but it doestn matter...it is a mad world!

In Germany, it is not a shame when young girls have sex early. And here, the sex issure is told very early in the school, which leads young girls in having children very early. And then the husband goes away from her very early.

Do you think this is good? Can you say that policy about when to having sex is good, or not, anyway?

high School students should avoid cohabitation. because they are too young to deal with those complicated relationships, and as Admiral said, if those high school girls get pregnant, and when their boyfriends get away, those girls would become the final victims of the relationship.

However, on the thread, what I mean is adult relationship. if a couple of adults cohabit, first of all, they have to learn the way of conception control. and that's easy. after all, if they get pregnant and the men are not responsible, it would also be harmful to women. but that shouldn't be the reason against cohabitation of adults.

Oh, if you mean this, I don't really think so, because then the whole institution about marrying won't make sense. But still the registery office gives a possibility to get distanced if two people changed after years that they don't have feelings for each other.

Or do you mean that sex before marriage should be legalised? Here, I also say that's ok, because one should find out which boyfriend/girlfriend really fits to him. And in this case, practice is much better than only theories.

A marriage should be worth the try, so the wife should be the right one.

And whether she has had sex before or not, I think it shouldn't really matter, as long as she is still pretty.

Yeah, you are right, I used the incongruous word. Better is "wholly accepted morally".
Preventing is still a bad problem. But if girls understand how to do, I also think it's ok.
Men shouldn't blame their wife only because he came a little late.

hi! if you are from Turkey,you can understand what a important issue for Turks.because Turkish culture tells;no sex before getting married!but I hate this keen prohibition!but however i think age of having sex shouldnt be as low as 15!!!!!!
