More context is needed to understand what yellow means in that quote.
Generally, yellow is used to describe a person who is the opposite of brave. We also say that person is chicken (without an article) to say the same thing.
Yellow also is used as an alert for caution. A yellow flag at a car race signals an enforced slowdown until an accident is cleared from the raceway. A yellow light at an intersection means slow down while proceeding through the intersection. |
