Many women say *delaying micturition* has resulted in urinary tract infections.
Could anyone explain that?

Micturition is urination, so delaying micturition is not emptying ones bladder when it neeeds to be emptied. I doubt you will ever see the word except in medical literature. |

Aw now you've spoilt it - here I was thinking you were soooo wise.
Missdaredevil isn't the only go-getter here - I can name quite a few who come up with fantastic questions that make me think - A LOT!

Yes, that's definitely true. It is probably that any student who hangs out in here on a regular basis is by definition very motivated. And also, the responders by definition have a great interest in English and helping others. It's why I find myself addicted to it. I've received countless smiles and a deepening of my own knowledge of English. |
