No.
Is a jet of water used for cleaning or medicinal purposes.
Also a device which produces such a jet.
It is used by women usually, especially in Europe, to wash their private parts after sex, or because of some medical problem.
The ones I have see look something like a toilet, made of porcelain, with a water jet in the middle. The person using it, straddles the device and operates a tap (faucet) that causes the jet of water to shoot up in the air like a small fountain.

Oh, I thought those were usually called "bidet". A douche was like an enema but for the vagina for cleaning out after a monthly flow, after sex, or a yeast infection. My mistake |

Yes, Bob, you are correct; thank you. I have described bidet. Apologies to Miss D. for incorrect plumbing explanation. But at least, you knew what I was talking about. |

Well, you don't need to apologize for trying to help. Instead, I have to say thank you for the effort of such a great explanation.
By the way, Does the *plumbing* question mean *digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems*?
Anyway, thanks for your help. |

Miss D., thanks, you are too kind.
Plumbing is, literally, the pipes in a house which supply it with water and drainage.
Metaphorically, it can mean the human systems you have mentioned.
I am interested to know if in your native language, you can use it the same way? |

As a joker to my classmates, it is usual. But not to many people who prefer the generally known usage of words.
One thing I like about English is that it allows a lot of room for play-on words, so that that makes it more fun and interesting.
Thanks |
