Hi!
My name is Miyuki. I live in Aichi in Japan. I am a foreign language college student. Here I am studying English.
Im very interested in foreign languages and cultures. I think learning them is exciting. Through this Id like to learn how foreign people think about world affairs, leaning something, sports, movies and foods etc. |

I'm a language major, too. For me the most fascinating thing about learning a foreign culture is that you get to know a brand new way of viewing the whole world. It's like you opened yourself a new window, through which you can see the familiar things in a unfamiliar way. |

i agree with nizeng!
there is a quote by the late leo buscalgia, who was a popular professor in california in the 80's. he said, "everytime you learn something new, you become something new."
learning about different cultures and countries is so interesting! it may make people narrow-minded if they don't stretch beyond their own culture every once in awhile, eh?
