My only knowledge of snuff is as a tobacco product. It is in a powder form and you take a pinch of it between your thumb and forefinger and then sniff it up your nose. Sounds fun, doesn't it? Laughing

Oh wait, another use is to put out a small fire. For example, you might wet your forefinger and thumb and then snuff out a candle.

Bud,

I saw some Internet examples of using cocaine snuff. I am wondering if it has other applications than the tobacco, although all the dictionaries in Onelook agree with you.

Thanks.

I've never heard it, BMO, but it makes perfect sense. No doubt, then, it is used to distinguish the most popular form of cocaine from other forms. Nice work!
