Dear teachers:
The above defects *also* do not comply with Article 18(3) of the Patent Law Enforcement Rules.
It sounds a little weird to me. Is it better to rewrite as: The above defects do not comply with Article 18(3) of the Patent Law Enforcement Rules either.

| Yeah, the original form sounds like polite Business English. The rewrite sounds like common speech. |
