Don't tell it to her because...
She can't keep a secret.
She has a big mouth.
She never keeps her mouth shut.
Is it common way to say?
Which one sounds natural?
Is there any funny or ironic way to say for it?
Thanks, teachers |

All three are very common. One other is, "She's a blabbermouth." I'm sure there are many more. |

Thank you, bud
Ok, I will not tell my secrets to anyone having a big mouth!
But I cant wait for telling my friends that bud taught me a new word, blabbermouth! Well... Don't think I am a blabbermouth! This is "MY" secret |

Is that grammatically correct? Is " don't let her know" more common?
Thanks

I think it is grammatically correct, though I often make grammatical mistakes.
I learned two ways.
1) Tell someone something.
2) Tell something to someone.
I heard that the difference between 1) and 2) is what you want to put stress on.
If you want to put stress on the person, you say 2).
If you want to put stress on the thing, you say 1)
That's why I took 2). I mean maybe you can tell it to others if they can keep a secret, but not her because she has a big mouth.
Now I'm not confident about it.... |

I agree that both are correct and common, Airi. MsD's way is another natural way to express the thought. |
