Dear teachers:
Recently the show has *spun off* and Taiwan has its own version of Fear Factor called "Xtreme."
What does "spin off" mean?

| A spin off is a second show that was created from an original show. In the case of "Xtreme," the show was spun off using the same theme. In other cases, they spin of a second show with a popular character from the original. "Joey" was spun off from "Friends." |

| I'm pretty sure he does although I've never seen it. Not only does he have the same name, it is the same character. |
