*Is wondering why FYAK writes in such a large font*
I have a whole list of them, but my very favorite in Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, with Lord of the Rings a close second. What about you? _________________ "The eye dilates in darkness, and at last finds day in it, just as th soul dilates in misfortune, and at last find God in it"

hi everyone, I believe FYAKTKAK was deeply concerned over the faith of the blind among us...
I love books, and I have many favorites, but I really liked Time to Live and Time to Die ("Zeit zu leben und zeit zu sterben") of Erich Maria Remarque.
Mr./Mrs. FYAKTKAK, what is YOUR favorite book? |

I'd like to introduce the book.
The main character is named Katy, and her boyfriend is Tom.
They are member of same band ,Steel City.
One day Katy broke Tom's guitar in spite of herself.
So he bought a new guitar at an old shop.
However, a ghost was in the guitar!!
From the day,Tom changed suddenlly.
This story is about Katy's battle-can she save Tom from the guitar?
This was the exciting book.
The title is "Ghost in the Guitar"
I don't want to reply but please try to read if you can get it. |

Do you know "My Fair Lady"?
First, the heroine, Eliza, had a strong London accent, but Higgins started teaching correct English. And then, Eliza can speak beautifully, and they were in love.
Many years ago, this story became movie. The heroine was played by Audrey Hepburn. I like the movie, too! |

I would like to recommend my favourite novel to you. Well, it's not a novel, strictly speaking. It's a set of funny short tales. I don't know if it has an English translation. The autor is the wellknown Julio Cortzar (from Argentina, but also French) and the book is called "Historias de cornopios y famas". Well, I can recommend every book of Cortzar!

I like "The Royal Game" by Stefan Zweig. It's a very short novella of only a bit more than 100 pages depending on the copy. The book is about chess and national Socialism.
I've added this link for those who want to get more infos on the book:
