Hi. I have a group of Japanese mature (middle-age) adults who would like to take ESL classes in the morning and sightsee/shop/relax in the afternoon. I'm looking for a 2-3 week course. They are not looking for English for academic purposes, just for fun and for the chance to use English in real life situations. I've searched all over the net but cannot find anything to suit their needs. Does your school have a program such as I am looking for? Do you know of school that does? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

My name is Katherine Sanchez. I have been teaching ESL for over 5 years now.

I am interested in providing homestay and private ESL instruction for Japanese students.

I live in Whitby, Ontario, Canada which is 40 minutes from downtown Toronto. It is a beautiful, clean, and friendly place.

For older students there are many attractions like museums, zoos, horseback riding centres, paintballing places, bowling, golfing, gaming centres, shopping centres, movie theatres, restaurants, bars, and spas in and around the Whitby area. An interesting and exciting experience on the Whitby Go train gets you to downtown Toronto in 40 minutes so you can continue your sightseeing experiences there. Obviously, there are lots of things to do.

Students interested in spending as little as 3 weeks or up to 6 months in my home are welcome. I have my own classroom and will provide 15 hours of teaching per week. That works out to 2 to 3 hours per day.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact me at [email protected].

Take care,

Katherine Sanchez
