The kimono is one of the typical cultures of Japan.
However, the person who wears the kimono has decreased considerably now.
I also hardly put on the kimono.
It is regrettable that a traditional, beautiful culture goes out of use.
Is there a culture that is going out of use also in your country though it is famous in other countries |

Hi, Nice to meet you
I'm Japanese college student, too. I like kimono very much!
I bought kimono last year.
I think that a design of a kimono becomes really cute recently
Speaking of a kimono, do you wear yukata??
Yukata is kimono for in the summer.
Japanese often wear it in summer festival or display of fireworks.
I will wear yukata this Saturday to go summer festival.
Yukata is very cute! Please tri it |

I like yukatas.
Whenever summer comes, it wears it every year.
On the other hand, the person who wears the kimono is still little.
The one that it can readily put on the kimono like the yukata only has to increase. |

Hi, I'm a university student.
I belong to KIMONO CLUB.
I put on yukuta July 7 in our campus, and I have classes.
This day is the Star Festival, so that day is special for our university.
We call "yukata day." Yukata makes gorgeous to our campus.
In summer, there are a lot of events. Let's try to put on yukata whenever you go out. |

Because I did not know what a yukata is I looked it up on the web It said:
The yukata is a Japanese summer kimono worn by both men and women. The name yukata comes from the word "yu" (bath) and "katabira" (under clothing ). Thousands of years ago, Court Nobles wore linen "yukatabira" which were draped loosely after taking a bath. It gradually became worn by japanese warriors and then by the general public when the sophisticated japanese public bath became popular. Today, the traditional Japanese yukata is widely used for everything from festivals, ryokan, summer daily wear to simple night attire. In Japan, the yukata is the most popular daily clothing wear and is beloved for its 100% lightweight cotton fabric. The fabric designs vary from the traditional plain cross hatch pattern to more colorful scenery designs.
The web page showed a picture of the yukata worn by a man and a woman. It looked beautiful on the woman but it looked very silly on the man. If any man wore a yukata in China he would be laughed at for wearing a woman's dress. |

If you can't say anything nice do not say anything at all. |

I don't think you are qualified enough to tell me what to do and what not. |

But I assume you are old enough to understand when you are behaving badly.
Somebody should give you guidance on how to behave, |
