Why "masturbation" ? I think the "finger" is just another (implicit) word for "*beep*". Isn't it ? |

Not necessarily. Given the vulgarity of the joke, you can just use a vulgar phallus word instead of a euphemism.
Of course we all know it's really a Jim Henson Company muppeteer that really has his hand up Miss Piggy's body cavity.  |
