There are addicton to computer games in my country, which causes a serious problem for teenagers. What do you think about this problem ? Please give me solution.

What is worst? Addiction to drugs or to video games? Does it matter? Is it one and the same?

I do agree that for some video games will ruin a lot of things in life, but personally I think

1: Smoking
2: Drugs

are much bigger issue then video game addictions.

unexceptionally, everybody gets addicted to something at least once in his(her) lifetime.
generally it is experienced in the early age as you mentioned.

I think the first cause for it is they are young.
young people tend to like exciting materials especially offered with amazing visual and sound(aren't they?) more than adults

second cause is you haven't found and learned something yet that you really like.
In your brain, you think there would be something more important than playing game outside. But, you haven't felt there really is something more important than playing game outside 'BY YOUR HEART'
Once you found what you really like, you'll be addicted to that instead of games.

what important is keep trying to avoid falling deeply into the bad addiction and to learn something from the bad addction.

wish it help.

Hi my name is Job. In Thailand a lot of student play too much game too. For example there was a student who play game up to 24hours. I think the best solution for this problem is that you have to order the time. Or maybe try to think that games are boring and find something else to do.

My name is Nic from Thailand. In my school, Rumrudee Inter national school. there are too many people playing games a lot. some of my friends they wake up at 3 in the morning to play games. some stay up later after midnight playing games. i think this will cause the student study habit getting worse. we need to do anything to improve it.....

Well, student who lives in the US, and I also like to play computer games. Now your asking how many hours I spend staring blankly at a screen on a TV/laptop, oblivious to everything around you? I would say, weekdays... 2-3 hours, and on weekends... 5-6 hours.. maybe more.

Must...destroy... runescape...addiction... Evil or Very Mad

I am a student of Taiwan. And I like to play computer games, too. Such as warcraft, diablo II, starcraft. To me, play games is to relax myself. So I dont think play games is a bad thing. If you finish your work first, then take it easy and enjoy the games. Laughing
