Concerned about finding a job? Interested in future of employment? Got something to say about tomorrows workplace? Want work experience in a global office? Want to attend a workshop in London?

Electronic Data Systems (EDS) BOX innovation centre and the London School of Economics (LSE) have teamed up with Generation Europe, Europes leading online community and discussion platform for 19-29 year olds to review with a group of young Europeans their perceptions of the future of employment; who are the workers of the future? What will they want from their employers? What is the role for technology and innovation in tomorrows work place and what is the best way for organizations to recruit, reward and retain todays emerging talent?

Whats in it for you?

Complete the online survey and send us your essay and BE ONE:

Of 3 to win a three month (2nd quarter 2006) paid work-experience INTERNSHIP either at the BOX innovation centre at the LSE or at a global EDS facility.
Of 6 to win an all expensed paid four day trip (early 2006) to London to meet with the BOX research team, members of the LSE faculty and senior executives of EDS and participate in a BOX round-table discussion at the LSE campus in Central London on the future workplace.
To win the latest Ipod. Results will be announced in October 2005.

Whats involved?

Our aims are to discover attitudes and expectations of the next generation of workers and the best ways to motivate and manage them. To achieve this, we want young people aged 19-29 to complete a multi-choice on-line survey that will assess the attitudes, options and expectations of the future workplace as well as submitting a 500 word essay in English on: 'The 'workplace' of tomorrow and how people and technology will evolve to work together in it.

Eligibility Criteria: Are you?

Opinionated? Motivated and constructive? Fluent in English? Between 19-29 years old?

How to apply?

Go to www.generation-europe.eu.com to complete the survey. Click on BOX survey for competition details and terms and conditions.
Send essays to [email protected] and a copy of your CV.

Deadline: Friday October 14th 2005.
