Hello travel fans. Have you heard of Macao? There are many interesting sites to visit and many exotic foods to make your mouth water.
For the adventurous, there are many extreme, or radical sports and events. For the quiet types, there are many gardens and trails which offer nice walks and relaxing strolls.
As for shopping, I can't tell you exactly how many shops there are as you'll need extra help to haul away your shopping bags. If that's not enough, there's also the tunnel shopping center in nearby Zhu Hai (bordering Macao) wow...........
If you're a night person then this is the place to be: Karaoke wannabe's, rave parties, pubs, bars with live bands and of course, a chance to hit millions at the gaming tables.
Come to Macao, check out our website! http://www.cityguide.gov.mo/eng_main.asp |

The trip in Macau for three days and two nights
On the First day, after you arrive to the Macau International Airport. Then you will leave Taipa and go to the Lotus Square.
Lotus Square: Standing in Lotus Square next to the Forum, the large sculpture of "Lotus Flower In Full Bloom" presented by the State Council of China in 1999, marks the return of sovereignty of Macau.
The sculpture, made of gilded bronze and weights 6.5 tons, is 6 meters high and the diameter of the flower is 3.6 meters at maximum. The major part is composed of a stem, petals and pistil, with a total of 16 components. The base of the flower consists of 23 pieces of red granite. The lotus flower, which is in full bloom, symbolizes the everlasting prosperity of Macau. There are three layers of red granite at the base, which are in the shape of lotus leaves, signifying the Macau Peninsula, Taipa Island and Coloane Island.
Then you will go to the Wine Museum and Grand Prix Museum where is near the Lotus Square
Wine Museum: This 1400 square-meter space is divided into different areas (Historical information/Wine Cellar/Museum and Exhibitions), using several types of supports: maps, texts, photos, tiles and videos, among other.
The aim of these sectors is not only to give information regarding the wine and the grapevines, but also to recreate the atmosphere that involves the production of wine, presenting to the visitor the modern and traditional tools connected to the wine production
Grand Prix Museum: Inaugurated in 1993 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Macau Grand Prix, the aim of this museum is not only to encourage a closer relationship between the local population and this social and sports event, but also to enable foreign visitors to know this event which is of great tourist importance and has gained a renown place among the international championships.
Then, you will go to the New Yaohan to go shopping and have a lunch.
After the lunch you will go to the Leal Senado Square
The Senado Square is the historic heart of Macau, and also the location of one of the newest and best municipal markets, surrounded by several blocks of bustling street stalls. The square itself is a historic site, with the 16th centuries? Domingoˇs Church at one end and the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau building on the other, on what used to be Macau's main shopping street, Avenida Almeida Ribeiro. In the narrow streets leading off the main square a wealth of inexpensively priced goods of all kinds can be found, with a good selection of local and international snacks conveniently nearby.
Clothing is the biggest item here, and you'll find vendors specializing in locally manufactured baby clothes, undergarments, shoes, or accessories as well as jeans, sweaters, t-shirts and sportswear in all sizes and styles.
And then we will walk to the Ruins of St.Paulˇs.
Ruins of St.Paulˇs: The great ruined fa?ade and staircase to the church of the Mother of God - now popularly known as St. Paul's - is the most famous landmark of Macau. Designed by an Italian Jesuit, and, with the assistance of Japanese Christian artisans who had fled from feudal persecution in Nagasaki, the church was built from 1602 to 1637. In 1835, a fire burned it to the ground, leaving only the fa?ade, the staircase and portions of a wall. It remained unchanged until a restoration was undertaken and completed in the summer of 1991. That fa?ade is crowned by the cross of Jerusalem, below which are three tiers with niches containing statues that were cast from bronze, at a local cannon and bell factory.
While you are walking to the Ruins of St.Paulˇs .There are many souvenir stores. You can buy some Chinese almond cakes.
Then you are going to the Museum of Macau
.The Museum of Macau was inaugurated on 18th of April, 1998. It's aim is to preserve the cultural traditions, usages and habits, which specifically belong to Macau, in a place where East, and West have so peculiarly learnt how to meet and to live side by side along the centuries.

On the Second day, you are going to have the breakfast in the Chinese Dim Sum restaurant. Then you will go to the Temple of A-Ma
The Temple of A-Ma was built five centuries ago and is considered to be the oldest in Macau. When the Portuguese sailors first landed on the peninsula and asked the name of the place, the natives replied "A-Ma-Gao" (Bay of A-Ma). And so the peninsula was named Macau.
A-Ma is in fact a complex of temples, some dedicated to A-Ma, others to Kun Iam, the Goddess of Mercy and Queen of Heaven. According to legend, A-Ma was an attractive young woman from *beep* province who could calm the stormy sea and protect the fishermen. The temple was built in the very spot where she set foot on land before walking to the crest in nearby Barra Hill and ascending into heaven in glowing halo of light and perfume
Then you will go to the Kun Iam Statue which is Located on the Outer Harbour, this statue, dedicated to Goddess of Kun Iam (Goddess of Mercy) is 20 meters tall and made of special bronze. The dome shape base like a lotus flower, is an ecumenical centre where information is available on Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism.
After you have visited those scenic spots , you will go to Coloane.
When you arrive Coloane, you can play Golf or Karting Track.
Or you can go to the Statue of the Goddess A-Ma
tatue of the Goddess A-Ma :Visible from far out in the South China Sea, with a height of 19.99 metres, the statue crowns the 170 metre-high Coloane Peak. A-Ma is highly venerated by local fishermen and has special significance in Macau.

Then, you will have dinner in the Fok Lam Koi Chinese restaurant. And you will live in the New
Country Hotel , as well as, you can go to Greek Mythology to play games.
The last day, you will have the breakfast in hotel.
Then you will go back to Macau.
You will go to the Lou Lim Ieoc Garden which is the most Chinese of Macau's gardens ever built, together with a flamboyant western-style house, by a wealthy Chinese merchant in the 19th century. The garden was restored by the government and became a public park in 1974.
The garden is modelled in the style of Soochow, the most famous of all Chinese classical gardens, the western-style house is surrounded by a large pond, groves of bamboo and flowering bushes. Also, there is a nine-turn zig zag bridge, which according to legend, can stop the evil spirits. Just imagine what a different world it is!
Then you can go to the Kun Iam Tong it is a temple of Kun Iam was built some 360 years ago during the late Chinese Ming Dynasty, and is the largest temple in Macau. The main temple consists of three altars on ascending levels. The first altar is dedicated to Buddha and three large gold lacquer images of the master.
The second altar is dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy and gold lacquer figures of the eighteen wise men of China, one of them believed to be the image of Marco Polo.
In the garden beside the temple, there stands a round stone table on which the first Sino-American Treaty was signed in 1844 by the United States minister Caleb Cushing and Viceroy of Canton, Ki Ying , as one of the many unequal treaties signed between China and the West in modern history.
