What does that word mean to you?

The word twerp is often used in Britain (Usually silly twerp!)
It means a stupid person.
It is very mild and is seldom used seriously in the UK, nor is it considered to be particularly offensive. (How is it used in the US, Bob? Seriously?) |

Mildly serious. If your little brother is pestering you, you might refer to him as a twerp (but don't let your mother hear you calling him that). A girl might use the term to refer to a potential sutor she considers beneath her (which can be particularly insulting to both his manhood and our general egalitarian sensibilities).  |
