It looks like both mean walking clumsily. Are they close in meaning?

Fumble has more to do with your hands. You are clumsy and cannot hold something tightly or carefully.

Also, I'd say that bumble usually has more to do with your brain. In a way, it is being clumsy with your thinking.

Thanks. Easy to remember. B is for brain (bumble), F is for feeling with your hands (fumble).

Great, BMO!

I just looked up bumble and it says "to speak or move in a confused way." So I was close, but not on target. Still, I would say that most often it refers to the speaking rather than the moving. At least, that's my experience.
