Very little difference, in my opinion.

As a native English speaker I am sure the listener would ask you to clarify what you meant if you said one of those expressions, if it was not contectually understood.

I am also taking a TEFL course which I am finding very informative! A friend of mine took the course 4 years ago and has not been home since! Where are you taking yours? (city/country/school)
