Can someone help me find a grammar book?
Hello, I'm about to fly out to Japan to teach English and I need a grammar book, British English specifically. I've been looking in a few shops and found a few books, the Longman's A-Z one looked pretty decent, they had the Oxford one as well and I figured since I had the OED already it might be goo...

While you're at it, could someone also please recommend a book for learning to read kanji, as well as a kanji - English dictionary, or some other device for telling a tin of beans from a tin of paint.

First time after a long time
I am a first time English teacher about to go to Japan for a year. I did my CELTA course just over a year ago and I'm a little concerned that I'm not quite up to scratch. Other than reading through my course notes, can anyone advise me of ways to prepare to make sure that I'm up to speed?
