World War I and II in ESL
Could anyone guide me in the right direction to find materials to teach about World War I and II to a group of ESL 8th graders? I know Anna Uhl Chamot had a series called Language Development Through Content in the area of History. Were World Wars included?

LAS TEST
Does anyone have any experience in administering the LAS test? These are the Language Assessment Scales, mainly used in ESL programs in the US.There is the LAS-Oral and the LAS Reading and Writing. It seems very complete but at the same time very cumbersome to administer. Does anyone know any shortc...
