Thanks! If so, I wonder why the answer is (c) only. In my opinion, it seems that both (c) and (d) are okay. In gelology, contitnests are defined in terms of the Earth's crustal sturucture and constituent, rather than surface areas.
Answer : constituent --> constituency
My opinion : How come????

Can I omit overlapping parts in parallel structure?
