Just an update like 8 years later, lol. I did have a free course from about 2012-2016. But there is currently no free course, however there are how-to videos on the site that are free and other resources as well.

I think so

It breaks the words down. Sometimes students have difficulties with certain sounds. If that is the case then you can focus on the phonetic part. You can use tongue twisters and other activities. It can work with kids or adults.

Partnering her up is a good idea. Pair work is good. You can also start sentences and have her finish them. You can try role play and dialogue too.

Funny when that happens. Well there's a lot, but Kids need to have fun and they have short attention spans. You'll need a lot of variety in the lesson and games and activities.

I wouldn't worry about trying to do anything any one way. You can read other books and learn more. I think you have to find out what works for yourself and your given situation.

I think trial and error is part of it whether you're a beginner or not.

Some students are more introverted and will benefit more from individualized activities. If you have a problem with students speaking in their native tongue then you could set up an English only rule, unless they raise their hands and ask to speak in their native lang.
