Thanks for the info. Are you considered a full-time teacher in your capacity in NJ? Meaning, normal salary and benefits? Can you get involved in any other school activities, extra-curriculars etc.?

Job Satisfaction - Teaching ESL in U.S. public schools

ESL Teaching in city public schools--Job Satisfaction?
I am thinking about going to graduate school to either teach high school English or ESL (Get a TESOL.) Is anyone on this board teaching ESL in a major US city? (NY, Boston, San Francisco.) I'm in NY. Any feedback as far as job satisfaction etc? I've tutored ESL college students and really enjoyed it...
