Thanks for your reply. I have taken my kids out of his class simply because I think it would be taking a step back for them and I don't think they need his accented english, to add to the confusion of already learning a new language. This guy is boring these kids to death, they will not have a very ...

ELC is good, but quite pricey. You could also go to one of those industry waste stores. Not sure what the correct name for them is but they have great stuff for arts and crafts and it's usually really cheap.

It's a computer game, you can download a free version to try it out, just google bespelled. It's has a tetris feel in that you have use the burning letters before they hit the bottom of the screen and burn down your library.

Good game for spelling

Have any of you played Bespelled, it's great for spelling. My 7 year old daughter loves it. I think it would be good for ESL students too.

Hangman, the kids love it, single words are good as you, the teacher can win. Sentences are fun too. I usually use words that I have taught in the class that day. Just make sure they don't all scream out letters to you at once.

Large classes

I have just stumbled into this site, what a great find...I'm so happy I've found some collegues in the same situation. My classes are between 60-80 kids and on average I teach 1500 a week too. The chinese english teachers are very supportive and feel the same way as I do. They are frustrated with th...
