I teach intermediate level adults and I recently came across the book "Samantha, A Soap Opera and Vocabulary Book for ESL," by Meryl Becker. Has anyone used it? Any opinions on it?

Hi Pixierox. Unfortunately I'm not writing with advice but to say that I'm having this same problem too and I'm ready to pull my hair out. How to deal with poor adult behavior in the classroom?
I teach ESL to adults (of all levels) in Boston, MA. Most of my students are Spanish-speakers and I happen to teach to Mono-Lingual (Spanish) classes.
