Hi, I have a whole company here in Germany where they all say spot instead of point to show decimals, ie 1.5 becomes one spot five instead of one point five. Has anybody heard this before? Hi, the same student as from my last post (I work full time and have maybe 50 students, but only this one gives me trouble!) She reckons "I musn't give you a refund if you haven't got a receipt" must be correct, as musn't means the same as not be allowed to, and "I am not allowed to give you a refun...

Health V healthiness

Ah... the native speaker arrogance... I corrected a student of mine who consistently referred to health as healthiness. i.e. "You can work there if you have good healthiness" - which just sounds so wrong. She swore she had seen it in a dictionary, I said that was impossible. But I cannot find a site...
