Two questions:

1. How much are Chinese English Teachers paid?
2. How long do they typically stay with a school?

I'm interested in teaching English in a family setting - that is to all of the members of one family at the same time. Does anyone know of any literature on this topic that they could point me to?

Personally, I don't think it matters a great deal between those two degrees. Provided you have a comprehensive education related to the field, get yourself good experience and get yourself published - I don't thing the field that your degree is granted in should matter a great deal.

I'd suggest you use the more proficient speakers as "teachers aids." They will learn alot from helping you teach English, and the less able students will benefit from the increased number of "instructors" in the class. I'm interested on learning and teaching a second language to all of the members in a family - that is everyone in the family wants to learn the language together. Can anyone help me with references? Online or otherwise - academic or popular?
