details?
I think it depends on how many will be presenting. If you will really have over 100 people participating, you probably want to keep it short--3-5 minutes/person. I did an exercise where students had to prepare a 3-minute response to a common interview question: "So, tell me a bit about yourself." Yo...

banking terms
I used to work in international lending so maybe can explain. A big bank, like the one your student works for, can syndicate loans, which means it talks to a borrower and arranges the loan, say for $100 million. Not wishing to lend all of this to one company, the bank goes out to other banks and ask...

One of my student teams researched some bookstores, and one store owner got so interested he wanted them to provide him with the results and not ...

materials for adults
I like the Language to Go series. Two-page units, some supplementary exercises in the back, listening cassette, interesting topics. I've used the intermediate and upper-intermediate books and am actually using some of the listening exercises this year in an EAP course in China.

BE certification
you might try the International House system schools--I got my certificate at the one in Katowice, Poland, although it might be more difficult to do a course in the summer as there are fewer students around, especially in August.
