My own students have produced some amazing work using this project. Much better than I'd hoped - and they really seem to be enjoying it.

Hi Paul Some nice activities there. I liked the Germany trivia quiz with the clock that counts down while you look for the correct answer. Is that done in Flash? Was it easy to do? I'd love to add something similar to my own site. I don't suppose you have a handy template for it, where I can add in ...

The actual subject/content of the lesson isn't so important, but you should choose something you feel confident in teaching - something where you know you have the answers to any surprise questions the students might ask. The observer will be looking for lots of things, such as: A good warmer - get ...

Thanks, all, for your kind comments. I plan to add a lot more students' work soon, including a gallery of students' comic stories. If you'd like to get involved and see your students' work on the site, try the new webquest project (just added). I think any young learner would be thrilled to have the...

Can I be cheeky and add my Grammarman site to the list?

http://www.grammarmancomic.com

It's small in comparison to the giants listed above, but I think it's the only EFL site with comics specifically for English students.

From my own experiences, there's a danger of the language taking second place and the focus moving to scoring points or winning the game. I've had this happen a few times, where students scrawl answers hurriedly on paper or shout across a room with awful grammar and pronunciation - the goal of the l...

Heinemann Hits is very good. Maybe it's called Heinemann ELT Hits...

Even if you don't like the selection of songs, there are lots of ideas which can be adapted to the songs you want to use.
