Thanks, but don't we say "when everything else is considered being equal"? How about these two sentences...... People consider that everything els is euqal --> Everything else is considered being equal? People consider that everything elase was eual --> Everything else is considered having been euqal?

When I change the first senctence into the following two,
would either be okay?
People considered that Jane had been an angel
--> Jaen was considered to have been an angel
--> Jane was considered having been an angel

As for the first question,
~ing seems more appropriate, but would it be grammartically wrong if I say to preserve?
I know newspapers are not always grammartically correct, but
I fould an article saying " a key to succeed ~"
