Regarding homework, I found that having a grammar point with old stand-by type exercises for homework that could be easily corrected with an overhead the next day, in fifteen minutes or less, allowed my older students to feel like they were studying "grammar" and also if they didn't have time to do ...

I really think it's the same thing with your/you're, there/their/they're, it's/its etc. I've seen "your wrong" as much as "your welcome." I think it's a dislike of apostrophes, and figuring the "right" way isn't important. U think so 2? (Ack I hate that :D)
