Hi!!
I'm an English teacher from Argentina and I teach English
in the primary school. I love teaching children. I teach children
aged 6-12 and I love my job!!
At the moment we are in summer in Argentina and we are on holidays
but next March the school year is starting again and I'm getting ready
for it!!
There's a project that I want to try this year, and I'm sure my students will love it. Basically the idea is to make a "Scrapbook"
which will consist of photos and messages where children will show
information about themselves and their families, their home, their city, the school, the activities they do at school, their teachers,
and also some information about their country. The idea is to send this project to different countries to children that are also learning english, that's why children will work in groups
and we'll have many productions in the classroom.
The idea is of course to receive another "scrapbook" in exchange with information about children and their customes.
If you are working with children and you like the idea, please e-mail me and we'll keep in touch so that you can receive our "scrapbook".
Thanks!!
Valeria

scrapbook exchange
Hi Valeria. I've been teaching 14-16 year-old Korean students for 8 months now, and I think this is a really good idea for the students to get direct information on a culture as unique as Argentina, or any other country for that matter. With Korea being on the other side of the world, on the opposite end of the hemisphere, this scrapbook would be so much fun to exchange. I hope many other teachers will join.
