websites with early literacy skills and stories

Two great websites for early literacy development, especially phonics and vocab practice are: www.pbskids.org (go to the "Between the Lions" link and click on games; "Cyberchase" is great for math and science skills for upper elementary/middle school age)

and www.starfall.com is pretty good, though the stories are just okay as far as literary merit goes. Good luck!

A site which has stories as well as plenty of other downloadable teaching stuff for the primary and kindergarten efl classroom is www.learningpage.com.
