Free teacher website for ESL teacher?

Post by englishlv » Thu Aug 11, 2005 4:04 pm

Hi all,

I am interested in starting my own, free teacher website online at ease and within a few minutes.

I was referred to www.schoolrack.com by a colleague and was wondering if anybody has used this service before? It looks very professional and clean, but do they ever charge? I am not willing to pay.

Please give me your comments!! Has anybody ever used this service?
Thanks!

-Judy

It looks real enough. I don't imagine they ever charge. They probably support themselves through mailings and the traffic they receive from you back to their main site.

I would give it a shot if it's what you're looking for (design, flexibility, storage, etc.) It's probably an easy way to get started and may lead you to bigger and better things.

Go to the website and look at sample teacher pages or their directory. Visit a teacher's page and e-mail them directly. That's probably the easiest way to find people who use the site and get their opinions on the service provided.

www.classnotesonline.com is another option, they are also free and seem a bit easier to use, you also dont need to know any html to get going, good luck!

I have tried classnotesonline.com and have my qualms with it, including it's ads and unfriendly design.

Conclusion: I am satisfied with schoolrack.com

The ads dont bother me, they are free after all, and the design is easy to use. Did you have trouble with the control panel? I had a question and they responded within a few hours.
