looking for activities for 9 years old

Post by iditb » Wed Nov 02, 2005 2:01 pm

Hello

We lived several years in the USA and now we moved back to our country.
I'm interested in finding work sheets and fun activities on the web or print outs to maintain my daughters english.

Thanks in advance

Visit some of the TV show sites. They have great web sites and they're fun and interactive. High budget and all.

www.sesamesstreet.com
www.nickjr.com

My children are still young (5,2,and -2 months) so these are good for them but their are more that are geared toward older children. Just search for any TV show your daughter used to watch. They will have games, activities and more.

Reading is an excellent way to maintain and improve your daughter English. You could get some Nancy Drew books, the Hardy Boys, Cronicles of Narnia (or any series you think she might be interested in) and read them together out loud, mostly mom at her age. If she asks, look up or explain any words she doesn't know as she goes along.

I hope that helps.
