LOOKING FOR- site to make new words using letters of a word

Post by idolguy » Thu Dec 29, 2005 2:17 am

My students love the games of creating new words from a series of 6 letters, but I can only find Yahoo that uses 6 various letters. I am looking for software or a site to use a word like "CHRISTMAS" and see how many words can be made from using those letters.

Any help would be great here.
New teacher here and still learning.

I am looking to use a specific word from a daily excersize and have the students make words from THAT word......not just a word find game.

So I guess I am looking for software that will take my word (ex: valentine) and give me all possible words that can be made from using any number of letters from that word.

I tried "making words out of words" in google and got a ton of hits, many of which look like what you are looking for. I don't imagine them to be easy to find though, because essentially somebody has to sit there and do it. I don't think there's any software that can do it.
