I have a lot of resources for just that. I teach many small classes of young learners at my own private english school and have posted those resources for others. www.mes-english.com
I haven't posted my curriculum yet but there are plenty of ideas to go along with the resources.
Happy teaching,
Mark

Teaching young learners could be lots of fun
I am so very excited for you as you would be teaching young learners English very soon. Congratulations! I too have had the privilage of teaching young learners English and I found the experience very enjoyable and fun. I would suggest that you choose more hands on activities, those that would involve students directly in the teaching and learning process as they would be very much excited when you get them involved in the classroom activities instead of dominating the teaching and learning process in the classroom and expecting the students to sit quietly and listen to you most of the time. You will be very shocked in finding out what these young tods are capable of and you will never be able to find out these interesting discoveries unless you give them a chance! Happy teaching
