Christmas Games and activities

Post by XELIN » Mon Nov 17, 2003 2:11 pm

Does anybody know any good site where I could find games, crafts and online or offline activities related to Christmas? This festivity is coming ... and I need to start thinking about, don't you?
Thank you in advance for your help.

What about Christmas holidays around the world? The Multicultural-Holidays weekly bulletin provides information on about 480 holidays, including Christmas, celebrated by various religions/cultures around the world.

This year, December 6th is St. Nicholas Day (Christian). St. Nicholas is the patron saint of Russia and came from a town in Turkey. The Dutch call him Sinterklaas. They say he has a helper called "Black Peter." Together they travel the country the night before St. Nicholas Day on horseback. Children put out their shoes, filled with hay and carrots for the horses. If the children have been good, they are rewarded with candy and presents the next morning. If they haven't behaved well, Black Peter leaves them a lump of coal.

Holiday information for the weekly bulletin is provided by the Multicultural Calendar, now in its 13th edition!
