I am in charge of English training for my company. I would like to share with you about how AV aids help in English training.

I have designed a poster with four diagrams, in each of diagram there is one picture of:
1. Students in the classroom with speaker: meaning speak loud
2. Two eyes facing each other: Eye Contact
3. Students rasing hands: meaning active participation
4. Like no smoking sign, there is one No Chinese sign. And a hammer on a student's head: meaning speaking mother tongue will result in punishment. We usually have one plastic hammer that gives harsh noise when I beat the student. Certainly the noise is also followed by laughters as well.

The poster greatly help set the tone for the class to encourage students to speak loud with eye contact and actively participate. These four rules are the key to effective language learning.

I am designing learning cards as well to facilitate the learning process. I welcome your comments and wish to learn more about what other AV aids are used in your class room.
