Which period of age is suitble for kids to start to learn English as a second or foreign language?

Zero. Except then they might get too good to qualify for L2 status!

I bet I end my career teaching the 0-1 age group somewhere.

Anyway, language isn't like alcohol. Any age is OK.

I agree with your view. From 0-3 w'd better let them listen ang feel the rhyme of English songs and chants. And then 4-6 let them learn some words in topics such as animals, fruits ...
