Ideas for activities on a train journey

Hello everyone, i'm wondering if anyone can help me...

I am going on English Camp soon, and while I already have some lesson plans for the actual camp, I realised we have about 2 hours on a train to get there.

I thought it would be good to try and give the students some kind of activitiy to keep them busy. There are about 20 students in total aged between 20-30. Their English levels are mixed, a few beginners, some advanced, but mostly intermediate. I tihnk they will be sat in pairs, or in a small group of four.

I've read the English Camp thread already, which has some great ideas for general lesson plans and activities - but hoping to find something that would be more suitable for students sat on the train.

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I would think the environment of the train might provide plenty of opportunities for language learning. Scott Thornbury has some suggestions for using the immediate environment:

Another idea would be to use some icebreakers, activities for getting students to know each other. Go here for icebreakers:

Also, if the students are new to the school and the area, you could include some reading material which would give them an introduction.
