Most commonly used handouts?

Post by chris_td » Mon Feb 14, 2011 12:00 am

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here. I'm just trying to get a feel for the classroom handouts you use in class.

For me, it is:

1. note cards
2. lists of sentences (for games / grammar correction)
3. pair work crosswords (great for teens, who feel like they are playing a game sometimes)
4. Can you spot the difference? (great for grammar)
5. Storyline in pictures (arrange the story in order, etc..)
6. Grammar worksheets (for homework).

I teach a lot of young learners, so I use vocabulary handouts and picture dictionary worksheets more than anything. Although from your list I chose grammar worksheets because I also use a lot of those with my students.

Where are you teaching and what age groups?
